Prior to becoming a practicing attorney, Cynthia Jennings held numerous executive positions with the Connecticut General Assembly; Office of the Mayor, City of Hartford; State of Connecticut Department of Education; the Connecticut Judicial Department and the U. S. Census Bureau. Ms. Jennings served as a Commissioner on the Hartford Redevelopment Agency for five years, was a Presidential Cabinet Member Appointee to the National Environmental Justice Advisory Council to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA), and served as a business consultant to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA); Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Cynthia Jennings holds a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Connecticut Law School. Her private practice focus is in the area of Civil Rights Law, Employment Discrimination Law, and Constitutional Law. Attorney Jennings was a partner and founding member of the Barrister Law Group, LLC in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and is currently in private practice in Windsor, Connecticut.
